As a term, recycling means reintroducing waste materials, which are generated after use, to the manufacturing process as raw materials through various physical and chemical processes. Recycling is a highly suitable disposal method for the packages, which we indicate that we have manufactured from recycled materials. Plastic materials are produced when various products generated in oil refineries are processed in petrochemical facilities. Only 4% of the oil produced in the world is used for manufacturing plastic. On the other hand, only 3% of such 4% used in plastic production is used to manufacture plastic packages.

Plastic has become highly preferred in the sector since it means producing more packages using less material and it is easy to shape. Use of plastic in packaging started after the World War II. Plastic packages became popular in 1950s, and their use has gained momentum in the period from 1970s until today.
